My Role:
Define the new User Experience for all the Medical Hospital practices within the Weill Cornell Medicine practice
Re-map the Information Architecture - Axure Link to Sitemap and Wireframes ›
Streamlined the micro-sites with front end code that matched the design.
Collaborated with the development team on Front end Coding and creating the template in Drupal (SASS) following the designs.
Provided a website that was Responsive with a mobile-first focus and optimized display for tablets and the latest mobile devices
The content is powered by Drupal content management system (CMS) allowing for real-time content edits and ease of modification as necessary
Scalability for future enhancements and features
Design and aesthetic correctly representing the Weill Cornell Medicine new brand identity
Define goals for outcomes for User Research and perform it while:
Learn Qualtrics and deploy surveys.
Train junior designers on research.
Study each department and their goals in order to define guidelines for content:
Enhance the hierarchy of content to showcase accomplishments
Define a voice and feel of the new page for the department. (Targeted content towards prospective students including an alumni spotlight, information on core pipeline programs and diversity testimonials.)
Set guidelines imagery, Illustration when necessary and photography use.
Resources available for Faculty and Staff including opportunities, faculty development tools and grant/fellowship availability
Goal:
To use the website as a centralized repository of information on policies, programs and news related to the efforts of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, with an interactive way to supply information.
