INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WEBSITE

PROJECT:
weill cornell Medicine

Project Overview
What began as a simple rebrand evolved into a full digital transformation initiative. During initial research, it became clear that the existing website needed more than visual refinement — it required an expanded infrastructure to support a growing ecosystem of distributed systems and self-service tools.

Objective
Redefine the site as the primary hub for community support and information by:

  • Integrating multiple standalone systems into a unified digital platform.

  • Enabling direct data imports and connections from these systems.

  • Establishing the site as the go-to resource for self-service, support, and training.

My Role & Contributions
Beyond design and prototyping, I introduced a standardized user research methodology that combined surveys, analytics, and qualitative insights. This approach not only guided the project but also became a research framework for future digital initiatives within the organization.

Key Features

  • Fully responsive design

  • Integration of five distributed systems (page visits, system status, updates, training & guides, and FAQs dynamically linked to related services)

  • Streamlined content management via Drupal CMS

Tools & Process

  • Planning & Prototyping: Axure RP

  • Research & Analytics: Qualtrics, qualitative interviews, competitive analysis

  • Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Development: HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript

  • CMS: Drupal
