My education includes a Masters’ Degree in Interaction Design from New York University, a Bachelors degree in Fine/Graphic Arts and ongoing attendance to tech conferences as well as Certificates to maintain latest design and technology trends to inform my decisions.

When possible, I accept invitations to Lecture classes in New Media, and Interaction Design. My latest at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City.

The why - (latest professional years)

After 8 years from graduating with a BA in design, I took a bold decision to take my design career further to include new platforms to showcase my designs. I applied and was accepted into NYU’s Masters Degree Program Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) at the Tisch School of Art in New York City.  Presently one of the world’s most progressive, competitive and esteemed new media programs, according to this CNET review.
While doing full time Master’s degree; I delved into career related posts such as a photo editor for The Parenting / Prevention Magazine and user acceptance tester for The New York Stock Exchange. I also received invitations to lecture classes in Design, New Media and Technology classes at my former alma mater, Western Connecticut State University, SUNY in Westchester and most recently in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology, which I found it to be a very fulfilling and rewarding experience.

My design History -

My design career began with with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design and an internship as a Multimedia Artist for Ethan Allen - where I joined after graduating. Ethan Allen, opened the doors as a new world of Agency Art Directing at one the most popular Marketing Agencies in Connecticut - Marketing Drive US -  where I quickly grew to a Senior Art Director for the Gillette, Duracell and Braun campaigns.

In the middle of the recession, I held a position of Marketing and Public Relations and Lead Designer for the Housatonic Area Regional Transit Agency in Western Connecticut. Where I created, promoted and maintained the agency’s brand, in addition to enhancing the transit’s way-finding and scheduling didactics. While in this post, I also became involved in the community by joining public meetings, as a Board Member of local organizations, and collaborating with civic organizations, including becoming an "Official Translator" for the City of Danbury.

If you would like to hear how I can help you with Design, User Experience, Art Direction, Photography, or Information Architecture, send me a message. I'd love to hear from you.
